今晚 有同學提到 "百里香" ("Thyme")

使我想起了這首英文老歌

Scarborough Fair 集市上羅列著許多香料  :

Parsley , Sage , Rosemary and Thyme

 

 

在網上找來了一串 用於烹飪的香料(spice)名稱 

Parsley荷蘭芹   Sage鼠尾草    Rosemary迷迭香   Thyme百里香

Nutmeg 荳蔻     Mace 荳蔻皮    Cardamon 小荳蔻

Oregano奧勒岡   Bay Leaf月桂葉   Cinnamon肉桂   Vanilla香草

Anise 大茴香    Fennel 茴香    Dill 蒔蘿 小茴香

Coriander 芫荽子   Basil 羅勒 九重塔    Clove 丁香

Tarragon 茵陳蒿    Celery Seed 芹菜子   Capers 酸豆

Mastard 芥末    Turmeric 姜黄    Ginger 薑

Red pepper 辣椒     Caynne Pepper 卡宴椒   

Paprika 甜紅椒     Saffron 蕃紅花

Pepper 胡椒    Garlic 蒜頭    Onion 洋蔥

這些香料之中 我最喜歡綠葉的 Basil ("羅勒")

也喜歡台灣的Basil ("九重塔")

  吃越南河粉湯時 放上幾片九重塔  再滴些檸檬汁 ummm . . . 

 

至於 Fennel（茴香） 或  Dill（蒔蘿 俗稱小茴香）

兩者都能在墨西哥菜攤上找到

茴香+蝦米+炒雞蛋 是我喜愛的餃子餡料之一
